Oh man! There is a rumor floating around that the cost of gasoline is going to hit $4/gal by the end of this week. I guess I'll be getting to the grocery store via my bike. Yikes!
This may also start to affect my ventures to the local trails to do bike rides. I am not reasonably close enough to them to ride there, so this may have to prompt my road bike to come down from the rack. The Kent Trails system (paved) starts about 2 miles from my house. I can do the full 35-ism mile round trip plus the 4 to and from my house for about a 40 mile, very low traffic road ride. Not too bad of a compromise, at least for a little while I guess.
