In a Blaze of Glory

I'm burning out... in a blaze of glory.

I've been clocking consistent days starting at 6AM with a simple workout and some e-mail all the way through to past 8PM. And some nights requiring social commitments with the professionals. Long, long days.

So I am burning up in the atmosphere.

I am involved in some very high-profile, high-stakes projects and I am committed to them 100%. But putting in the hours has been brutal. And getting the time to step away has been few and far between. I left there this evening at 8:15PM. The guys were going to go to a workout at 8:30. I chose to chill out and try to get my mind off things. But as you can see (or read), the thoughts are imbedded in there. No escape.

The payoffs, however are potentially enormous.
