A Little Free Thinking

"It's not what's underneath but what I do that defines me."

I do get a bit of time to contemplate things. And I hear things here and there that just raises my eyebrows. The saying above, I'm sure a bit paraphrased, is from the movie Batman Begins. It is on FX right now. It sort of shadows quite a bit of stuff that is going on right now. As well, it allows me to look back to events in the last year or so and see things differently... or more so how in-line a lot of what I observed is painted in more truth than illusion. It helps to define friends, enemies, intent, and outcomes. It helps me to keep things in perspective and perceive things much more accurately. It allows me to be who I am all the time and be something else on the outside. Unfortunately that betrays who I am... which I gladly sacrifice for other things (ultimate goods) that I deem more important than myself or for people I love.

With that said... the something else on the outside... I'll step away from the keyboard. To do what I am doing speaks volumes to my commitments. And hopefully some of what I do on the outside defines what is on the inside.

By the way, thanks to the handful of people this past year that extended true concern. You know who you are... and for those that feigned concern... I have something else for you (use your imagination). You know who you are as well.
