C'mon Spring!

The weather is BREAKING!! It's suppose to be in the 40's for a bit, but it is promising. So I am psyched... just tell the worms to hurry and get their little butts out and about so I can rip the trails again! The unfortunate part is that the sun has disappeared... and I was in Chicago for the weekend where the sun didn't shine a bit (and it did back home). I have to tough it out one more day as the sun is expected to return on Thursday. C'mon sun!

I think about my other situation a bit... the one I complained so much about several posts ago. The thought occurred to me that if the situation pans out the way I hope, I may eventually be close enough so I can commute by run or bike (so long as there is a shower on the other end). That would be the best bonus ever! The biggest difficulty is that I would have to find new trails, routes and probably riding buddies. The riding buddies thing will be the toughest to eat. I've respected the talents, teachings and camaraderie offered by these riders over the last several years and would really miss it. But as pointedly described earlier, such change has been thrust upon me rather than by my free will (frowl on face, fist shaking).

I will return to waiting and searching now. A tough pill to swallow, but I know it is only for the time being and that good things still await through the next door.
