Injuries... Continued

Here is the first shot of the bruise on my love handle a couple of posts ago. When it happened, nothing showed. But the next morning... this is what I was handed by the injury gods. Yeeesh.

And this is a week later. Big ring. Center turning closer to a flesh color... but it really is a weird yellow.

Currently, even the outer ring is slowly disappearing. However, yesterday morning, I noticed a "mass" in the wound. And late yesterday is started to be very painful to the touch. I found out it was painful when I pulled on my cycling shorts and dropped the lycra right over it. I just about cried (but didn't). I folded the waistband over and placed it below the injury. I did my last ride of the year on Cannonsburg SGA without incident and without too much pain (post on the ride... later).

I thought about heading to the Urgent Care Center this morning in lieu of work, but really don't like those places. I will be calling to see if there is an opening at my regular doctor's office for them to take a look. I really don't like something about the size and feel of a hard-boiled egg in my love handle. Really strange.
