Easy Ride(r)

Legs are feeling good today... a little stiff, like they used to be when I was in the midst of good training. A nice, easy ride last night following a nice 5 mile run on Sunday has my legs starting to rev again.

I was a little late last night, so I had just missed the group. The lot was fairly empty except a single rider looking a little lost. But we hooked up and he, John, was the "new guy" from the week before that rode with the group at Yankee. We didn't wait around as I drove over to the other part of the parking lot and there were the rest of the group's cars. So I stuck with John at a moderate pace leading him through. It was his first time at the trail; Cannonsburg Ski Area.

After a lap, I enticed him to climb the face of the bunny hill... whooop up to the top. At the top was a Buddah figure in white. When I got close enough, it was Brian zenning out at the top. John made it to the top and was glad I got him to follow. He enjoyed the feeling in his legs.

On the "bomb" down... I ride my brakes ;P... we passed a couple of others riders from the group. In a few we were all gabbing in the parking lot... and it got dark fast.
